In short
The One Timer app does not collect personal data, stores nothing on external servers and shares nothing. It has no internet access, no ads, no analytics or tracking tools and no user account. This website sets no cookies and embeds no third-party services.

The app: what stays on your device
- Your tiles (times, names, order) and settings (design, alarm sound, vibration, announcement, input method, language).
- How often you started each custom time, so frequent times can appear as buttons.
- Running timers, so they survive a device restart.
- A count of timer starts for the one-time review request (see below).
This data is stored only in the app's storage on your device. It is never sent to me or third parties and is deleted when you uninstall the app.
Android backup
If device backup is turned on, Android may back up your tiles and settings to your Google account and restore them on a new device. This is an operating system feature you control in the system settings. Running timers are excluded. I have no access to this backup.
Spoken announcement
The announcement after the alarm (“Your 5 minutes are up”) is produced by your device's text-to-speech. One Timer only passes the announcement text to this system function. You can turn the announcement off in the settings.
Review request
Once, after the 20th timer start, One Timer shows the Google Play review dialog. The dialog is provided by the Google Play app; whether and how you rate is solely between you and Google and subject to Google's privacy policy. One Timer does not learn whether you left a review.
App permissions
- Notifications: to show running timers and the alarm.
- Exact alarms: so the alarm rings on the second.
- Full-screen notification: for the alarm over the lock screen.
- Foreground service: to show running timers and loop the alarm.
- Start after boot: so timers survive a restart.
- Vibration: for an alarm you can feel.
None of these permissions is used to collect or transmit data.
Links in the app
Under “About One Timer”, one link leads to toxicleadership.info and one to the email address above. Tapping opens your browser or mail app; One Timer itself transmits nothing. The links contain no identifiers or tracking parameters.

Your rights

As the app sends no personal data to me, there is usually nothing for me to act on; I am happy to answer questions at the email address above. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority, in Austria the Datenschutzbehörde.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version will be posted on this page with a new date.
